Relationships

God created us to be in a relationship with Him. An intimate, wonderful, personal, amazing relationship - one where He can completely shower us with love and we can respond in respect, obedience and adoration.

SWEET!!

And He also asks us to do the same with people.

Our number one purpose in life is to have this relationship with Him.

Our number two purpose in life is to have relationships with people.

Regardless of paycheck, job, marrital status, education, race, etc., we are to build relationships with people, invest our lives in one another and be honest throughout the process. Yes, it takes time, it hurts, it confuses and at times, you want to quit, but then you realize God didn't quit on you, why should you quit on others.

During my time here, God has been really working on me with how I care, how I invest and how I work on my relationships. From the easy ones to the hard ones - I easily fail and succeed almost at the same time. Really.

I want relationships to by number 2 priority and want to pursue them with a heart filled with love, joy, peace and contentment ONLY because my relationship with Christ is my number 1 priority.
