I really don’t know one way from the other.
And that is completely ok.
I feel like a child trying to figure out what I’m getting for Christmas – each guess not any closer nor further from the reality of the gift wrapped to open for my pleasure and my pleasure only. There is only One other who would actually gain a greater degree of joy – by just watching my expression.
I can keep on guessing but I will never get it 100%.
That being said.
Jumped right back into first aid stuff again. Brooke did all the gross nasty stuff and I just handed her stuff she needed. Pato translated and held the kiddos down. We are focusing on leg wounds. This has encouraged me to set a day aside for the school to do wound care. The clinic down the road is the biggest disappointment and failure for a large NGO's use of funds and lack of accountability. Let me just say that giving money to large notable organizations isn't the way to go in all instances. Large reliefs yes, true dedicated change....yikers. Let's say I am glad, proud and humbled to work for a small organization that can truly see, do and be around the change we say we do...not just passing out money and releasing control. PG
That was a random soapbox.
Baby Steven was discharged last night. Let me just say that Satan really hates the fact Monica is saved and has found refuge in Jesus....I am fairly certain the health attacks on Steven were due to Satan being TICKED off that God has Monica...so Satan is trying to discourage her passion for Him by trying to destroy, kill and steal her babies from her...PG, Our God WILL prevail. Regardless, she still smiles, looks radiant and TRUSTS and LOVES the LORD!!!
Now, pray for Baby Jenet, she has mumps. Irene, her mother, has three other children at home. Jenet is still VERY sick and swollen....
School and our after school programs have been jacked up. The school has been preparing for this big athletic competition and it totally interfers with our lessons.
We are still trying to look for Angela....didn't find her yesterday...today we will. I know it!!
Tonight we start our studies - women (Mary, Christine Zion, Ashley, Becky and Lowna - with Brooke) will be here at our house and the men (Kent, Simon, Pato, Erik, and Tony) at Simon's house. This is super exciting and nerving....I really pray this goes well....really do pray. Pray with me, ok? So excited.
I need to do more Women's ministry and counseling. That is my calling here. Yup. Can I just focus in on that only please?
