Our two men are graduates of Gulu University!! Simon in Business/Public Administration and Pato in Information Technology/Communication. Very awesome....and I was able to chauffer them around....Cosmas woke up at 5am to clean the van inside and out. It looked smart.
But it first was very stubborn...it didn't want to turn...so I opened the bonnet and looked....let it sit for awhile and then it turned. PHEW! Seriously thought Pato was going to cry when I called him to tell him that it wasn't starting. PG it did. So I dropped everyone off at Gulu University and headed to the office to pick up Pato's gift that I left there....and then the van wouldn't start - AGAIN! Very frustrated I went into the office and took a nap. A man Justine came in and started asking for money...he just came from the hospital with his HIV treatment and somehow remembered me from awhile back at Watoto. I told him that we are a children's ministry in Tegot and we can't do things for people just because. I did give him a scoop of rice and asked him to not come back to us for help but rather to go to Watoto because they do have things for adults with HIV/AIDS and would be able to help him better. I of course said this a lot nicer but that is the gist of it.
Then Opio Patrick Filda came. His whole left side was swollen because of a tooth. We went to the dentist and he got it pulled out. I had to leave the room for that...I can do blood but teeth - not so much.
Called Shaban to help with the car...told him that I was literally on my own cuz Simon was graduating....so within 10 minutes he arrived at the office. He tightened the connection and VOOM we were good to go. Then stopped over to the shop to pick up our stuff we left. I have to say, Shaban is a TOTALLY different person now...he is so kind and helpful...it is so cool. I think he is ECM's friend now. :)
Ashley is officially here - YAY!! She traveled around with Mary, Sharon and me to Pato and Simon's parties...so got to experience the long Gulu speeches and loud music...oh and some food. She was exhausted but I think she enjoyed it fairly well. I am really excited to have her here...
I am almost done with my Esther study...everytime I come to the end of a study it makes me sad cuz I just enjoy it so much. But all good things must come to an end. I enjoy studying God's Word. :)
