I see it daily in Ug....oh do I see it.
It is my favorite thing to see.

So, when I don't see it in people, obviously my heart hurts for them.

However, I found joy in that. How?

I remember clearly last year about this time I truly started to hit a bottom that I could not explain. It was a time of honesty, restoration and redemption that took many days, hours to throw, slide under, push over and collapse at Jesus' feet. It was a time I said AND ACTUALLY believed: LORD I surrender it to you. And when that was taken care of I was able to confidently walk in any situation I was put in knowing full well that in the end, God would get the glory. Jesus would become famous.

Might sound warped or strange or even ridiculous...but hard times excite me because it is just a time for God to shine!!

"And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Funny, how a girl who hated showing weakness now is excited about it! Kinda like a girl who always had to have everything clean, sanitized and such now living in Ug....but same diff and all glory. ;)
