Laughing and Crying

Whatever issue, problem or craziness that comes my way as of late, I just laugh at it. I mean, what else can I do when we get a flat tire and have to wait on the side of the road for 2 hours or veer off the muddy road waiting for complete strangers to assist....

But crying....it happens at times when I don't expect it.

At Simon's brother's funeral today I just wanted to hug him and cry. It is one of the saddest things in the world to see someone you love hurt so much. When I saw his sister crying it just made me think about my brother. How much I love him and how he is the most important person to me in the whole wide world. Have no clue how I would survive without him. He is the best man in the whole world. I just started praying for him and thanking God for him.

Our mom's organized a parent meeting to discuss who should go on behalf of the sponsorship families. It was amazing to see 25 some women packed in a small hut talking and organizing. The elected a leader (YAY EVELYN!!) and nominated three women to go - Evelyn, Rose and Doreen. I have to say I was so proud of them. These ladies were the SMARTEST (best looking/dressed) women at the whole funeral. The mom's also organized a HUGE bag of beans as a contribution to Simon's family.

To see them care so much for Simon really hit me. We pour out and love so much...and they know it. We no longer are ministering to the families of Tegot....we are loving our family in Tegot. We love them with all our hearts and they love us. Not only love, but support, encourage and walk alongside each other in our lives....we are family. It is so amazing and neat to think about. It is the best feeling when your ministry no longer is a ministry and it is just the way of life. Lives just intersecting and becoming a family.

As we were sitting on the side of the road waiting for Pato to arrive with our new tire, I was able to hangout with the mom's. I sat next to Evelyn and Rose and we just hungout. Tried my best to speak and we were able to communicate fairly well. I can carry somewhat a conversation....somewhat. :)

I've been getting questions, advice and prayer requests on relationships lately. I think it is funny that people come to me on that, but nonetheless I am able to give sound advice and listen when needed. Wonder if someday someone will give me advice. ;) Ha.

Actually, seems like counseling people happens a lot many ways. In some respects, I wish I had MORE training in this....maybe even a degree or two in it. Just saying.

I keep on praying for the Holy Spirit to reveal truth and wisdom in all ways. That His will be done. I just want peace and love for those I love....for those who need it....for this country....for my country...for my friends....for my family...
