There are plenty of layata's in this house...I feel like I eat layatas all the time!! I try to make hashbrowns....well, squared up layatas and fry them with some garlic and salt...the salt here is VERY salty. I typically don't like salt on stuff EXCEPT for hashbrowns...but it is too salty here. I must remember that. I also wish there was some maple syrup - the fake kind. That is the best with layatas. Ha
I just wanted to give a shout out to our LORD this morning for the following:
- AWESOME visit with our National Director
- The love and support I get from people through emails, calls and even cards!! It is crazy how even some people I didn't know cared as much, really do...it humbles me!
- The team in Gulu. Such God-fearing people who will go to any length to serve Him.
- Beautiful Ug mornings - it almost feels like fall. I like the crispness of it all.
- Layatas :)
- My mom who calls me and just brightens my day
- My brother who does everything to make sure everyone is taken care of...regardless.
- The excitement people have in Tegot for hope through development and education. The way they WANT to draw near to God...
- For internet at home....have not felt lonely since the girls left cuz I always find someone to talk to!!
- For my friend Jill here who is such a God focused woman.
God is good...this is the day that the LORD has made - let us rejoice!!!
