Never thought I would do an overnighter in Ug. Ha.

I went to Zion project for the end of Melissa and Sarah’s time slumber party. The girls are amazing. My favorite part is worship and prayer. Those girls know the LORD! I am still praying on how I can keep the partnership moving after the girls leave. Pray for me on that.

Thought when the headmaster said to arrive at 9am for the end of year celebration it would actually start somewhere around that time.
Ya, not so much. It is called noon. Oh boy. We spent the whole day at Tegot Primary.
But cooler than that is that we got the agreement signed by everyone and we can officially move forward with the library!!

The day was lovely – songs, poems, dramas and awards. They gave awards for best in class, smartest (best hygiene/looking), attendance, behavior and punctuality. ECM provided soap for the winners. Parents were so proud of their children. They would cheer and a cream – their faces beamed with pride. It was lovely to see. We also gave basins as gifts to the teachers – they appreciated it big time. We wanted to do something to show our appreciation and willingness to support and collaborate. It was cool.

Took Anena and Odong James to the clinic – a new one in fact. Anena’s wound looks good and Odong has malaria. He now has medicine. Pray for his health.
Did learn I like to drive in the dark…it is easier to see the potholes.

I am exhausted. Hardly any sleep, dehydrated and hungry make me just wanna crawl into bed…so I am going to.
